Chris Carter

Christopher E. Carter is a Rock Hill, SC CPA and is Managing Partner at Martinson & Carter, CPAs, PA. Chris is a native of Rock Hill, SC.  He graduated from Winthrop University in 1981 and 1996, respectively, receiving Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees in accounting.  He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Chris started his career as an accounting and tax professional in 2002 after a 20 year professional career with Duke Energy Corporation.  He met Marty Martinson in 2008 and formed the current partnership in 2014.  He is responsible for managing the firm’s accounting and income tax planning and preparation functions.
